Welcome to our map of Zakopane, where we have gathered together all the information on Local Life together. Please just click the show map button on this page, and you will be able to see the whole town. From there, you will also be able to select restaurants, hotels and other places of interest from the drop down menu on the right. This will help you with the layout of the town, which is nestled in a valley in the Tatra mountains. Look out for Krupówki Street, which is the main tourist thouroughfare in the centre of Zakopane, and where most of the popular restaurants and so on are located. The map can be zoomed in and out, and we hope it is helpful both before and during your stay. Enjoy!

As well as Katowice, there's just as many, if not more, to Balice, Krakow. Regular bus services from Krakow to Zakopane.

This is very useful. Would be great if, say, you could see all the places at one time! Maybe mark restuarants in one colour, hotels another for example?
