The following are several transportation options available for Manchester residents:
- The CT Transit system 860-525-9181 offers several bus routes in and around Manchester. Seniors over 65 and people with a qualifying disability may use CT Transit for a reduced fare. www.CTtransit.com
- ADA Transportation 860-724-5340 provides rides throughout the Greater Hartford area for people who, due to a disability, are unable to use the CT Transit system. ADA provides trips for all purposes and the fare is $3.00+ per one-way trip. Residents can apply online at www.hartfordtransit.org/adaservice.html or call the ADA number above for an application and qualification requirements. Reservations are taken up to 14 days in advance. www.hartfordtransit.org
- Manchester residents who qualify for ADA Transportation can receive a free ticket book each month through Senior, Adult & Family Services by calling 860-647-3093 or email: Ed Paquette
- The Manchester Dial-A-Ride Program serves residents who are 60+ or disabled of any age. Rides are available Monday through Friday (except for major holidays) in Manchester for medical appointments, grocery and other shopping, visiting, banking and personal business. People making reservations for medical appointments are encouraged to call up to 28 days prior to their appointment. To sign up for the program call Mon-Fri between 2:00pm - 4:00pm. Once you are signed up, call to RESERVE your ride Mon - Fri between the hours of 8:30am - 2:00pm. Contact phone: 860-870-7940

The Manchester Senior Center provides transportation to and from the Center as well as weekly group trips for shopping. Call 860-647-3211 to reserve a ride.
American Cancer Society 1-800-227-2345 attempts to find volunteer drivers to transport cancer patients to treatments through their "Road to Recovery" program.
Medicaid (Husky A, C & D and Title 19) Transportation through VEYO TRANSPORTATION is a program for people on Medicaid for rides to medical appointments. Call VEYO 48 hours in advance of the ride at 1-855-478-7350.
