Extreme Fire Danger 11/15
The State of Connecticut is under Extreme Fire Danger and Stage 2 Drought Advisory.
The outdoor burning ban for Manchester will remain in effect. We ask all consumers to be mindful of any unnecessary water usage in order to protect our water supplies for essential drinking and fire-fighting purposes.
Closing Policy:
When Manchester Schools are closed the Senior Center is closed. All programs, meals, and transportation are canceled for that day. When school is on a 2 hour delay all programs, meals, and transportation will be delayed until 10:30 AM. Anything that starts before 10:30 AM is canceled. You can call the Senior Center at 860-647-3211 to listen to any updates or cancellations. Staff is available by phone during regular scheduled office hours. Don’t forget you can register your cellphone with WFSB to be notified when Manchester Public Schools are closed.
