The biggest R&B tour in the history of music is coming to Manchester this week - with Canadian superstar The Weeknd bringing his After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour to The Etihad.
Originally launched in 2022, the major tour has travelled all over the world in the last three years. It celebrates the singer-songwriter's acclaimed album trilogy made up of 2020's After Hours, 2022's Dawn FM and last year's Hurry Up Tomorrow.
The artist, real name Abel Tesfaye, first emerged on to the music scene with the release of his debut mixtape, House of Balloons, back in 2011. Since then, he has released six studio albums and earned recognition with global hits like Earned It, Can't Feel My Face, Blinding Lights, Starboy, and Save Your Tears. Over the years, he's worked with the likes of Madonna, Daft Punk, Ariana Grande, and Drake.

His two shows at the Etihad on Thursday (June 11) and Friday (June 12) will mark the first time the Canadian singer has performed in Manchester in three years - having last played a series of shows at the Etihad Stadium back in June 2023.
In fact, his two shows this week will also mark the first major music concerts to be held at the stadium in three years too. In the meantime, the neighbouring Co-op Live venue has hosted major music superstars like Billie Eilish, Bruce Springsteen and Lady Gaga, as well as top-scale ceremonies like the BRIT Awards and the MOBOs.
But, with work on the £300 million redevelopment of the North Stand now complete, a return to music and large-scale outdoor events was always on the cards.
If you're heading to either of The Weeknd's two shows at the Etihad Stadium this week, here's everything you need to know in terms of stage times, parking, public transport, last remaining tickets and what you're allowed to bring with you.
Support acts
For his two shows at the Etihad, The Weeknd will be supported by 'hybrid humanoid' Prince 85 and American rapper Playboi Carti.
Carti first broke onto the scene with the 2015 release of Broke Boi and he has since released three studio albums to date, including 2025's Music which featured guest appearances from the likes of Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, and Skepta. It reached the top of the charts in both the USA and the UK.

- Turnstiles Open: 17:00
- Prince 85: 18:15

The Etihad Campus stop is on the Eccles to Ashton line, with Cornbrook, St Peter's Square, Piccadilly Gardens and Piccadilly Station all served on the line.
There is also a city centre shuttle bus service, which will be included with all event tickets until June 30. The number of shuttle buses available will vary on each event with a maximum of ten buses per show. The buses will depart from Joe Mercer Way at the Etihad Campus and arrive at Piccadilly Gardens.

If you must bring a bag to the stadium that exceeds the allowable size, a limited number of bag drop facilities will be available, at a separate cost, to securely store items until after the concert.
There will be security checks and bag searches in place before attendees enter the stadium.
