The Counseling Center provides a variety of clinical and consultation services to support the mental health needs of Marquette students.
If you are seeking support, schedule a consultation appointment to discuss you support needs, eligibility and treatment options. You can schedule this brief (15-20 minute) consultation during our business hours by phone, (414) 288-7172, in person, or you can request a consultation appointment online.
For mental health emergencies, the following crisis services are available 24 hours a day:
For a life-threatening mental or physical health emergency, call (414) 288-1911 (on or near campus) or go to the nearest emergency room.
For non-life-threatening mental health emergencies:
- During regular business hours, call us at (414) 288-7172 or walk into the Center to meet with next available on call counselor.
- After business hours, weekends, holidays, and university closures, call the Counseling Center main line at (414) 288-7172 and select option 2 to be connected to a trained mental health professional.
Additionally, national crisis resources can provide students with confidential support by phone or text.

The Counseling Center has moved to the Wellness + Recreation Center!
- The Counseling Center's hours for the Summer are Monday - Friday from 8AM-12PM and 1PM-4PM.
- After hours, weekends and office closures, crisis support will remain available. To access, call the Counseling Center (414-288-7172) and select option 2.

Masks (e.g., N95/K95, surgical) are optional in all of our spaces. If you would like your provider to wear a mask during your visit to the Counseling Center, please inform front office staff. This will remain in effect until further notice.
