Psoriasis vulgaris is the most common form of psoriasis. A typical manifestation is onycholysis, where the nail separates from the bed. The separated portion of the nail may turn opaque white compared to the transparent normal nail that appears pink. The nail surface may be normal or indented, pitted or crumbly.
