Though the genre may be out of fashion at the moment, Deemo's gorgeous soundtrack and haunting visuals reminds us why we fell in love with rhythm-music games in the first place.
I’m a huge fan of rhythm games, so any title that can manage to get the gameplay right is worth a playthrough in my book. However, Deemo is so much more than that. The game’s art style and subtle story meld together beautifully to create an overall presentation that simply works. When you combine this with the superb song selection there’s very little to not love.

The best rhythm game ever, My Brother/Sister was number 1 on the leaderboard before they wiped it when the second one came out. The story was incredible and very heartbreaking. The gameplay is really good too, and very smooth. I was never very good at the game. 10/10 I do recommend it.
Deemo is one of the best games that I have ever purchased! The characters are intriguing and the story is emotional. This game is one of the only games that has managed to almost make me cry. The game play isn’t to hard for a rhythm game, and it has a normal mode, unlike their other game, Cytus, which doesn’t even have a normal mode. Every time they update, there’s about five free songs in the update. This game takes place in some sort of fantasy place and if I said anymore, I would end up spoiling the plot of the entire game. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys rhythm games with a compelling story line!
Often simplistic but rarely simple, this rhythm-action game nails what it sets out to do with enormous style and panache.
It looks just like any other music rhythm game, that is until you try it yourself. Most of the music is really good, got me hooked up right at the first time. Just the best game of its kind!
