It’s no small compliment to say that 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' is expertly crafted drivel.

If you love the “what the hell, let’s try it” sensibility that the Legendary Pictures monster franchise has embraced thus far, you’ll still find plenty here to enjoy. But it shouldn’t have been necessary to go looking for it.

Frankly, if you’re buying a ticket purely for the behemoth battles then you’ll get your money’s worth: take your pick from a trippy rumpus that defies gravity, a Copacabana beach-off, some Planet of the Apes-esque monkey business, and a literal dust-up at the Egyptian pyramids.

There’s a smidgeon more humanity than in the braindead Godzilla vs. Kong, but nowhere near the wit and spirit of Skull Island.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire serves one valuable purpose: It proves once and for all that bigger is not better.

It’s a lighthearted spectacle, but so disconnected from reality, narrative and human emotions that there’s almost nothing to it.

A slow and visually hideous crawl to an underwhelming brawl.

No ****. This movie needed some human involvement. Understanding Titans from minute zero to the last minute makes any Titan scene very boring. The movie climbs a mountain just everyone waiting to see the fight between the big four. Which I expected to be longer. It is still the best movie I have ever seen this year. A 10 is an understatement. I love this ****

It’s kind of fun but the dumb ass script that heavily pulls from other franchises like Atlantis the lost empire, hulk, and weirdly guardians of the galaxy, makes it a bit too dumb for my tastes.

It's worth watching in 3D which as the fight scenes and visuals enhance the experience some great CGi and madeit more enjoyable. The story is mediocre and the acting was okay but some storyline seemed a mess which made it off key, I watched it with my kids they loved the fight scenes but not in 3D it looks okay but they effect'sin 3d pulled the film to a 6 for me .

A dreadful, overloaded trash bin of a film crammed with nonsensical plot elements, buffoonish characters, and bizarro science fiction twists beneath every layer of stinking detritus. At least it had Godzilla and Kong.

The first half of this is so nonsensically bad, with an extreme lack of stakes pushing the plot along. You will be shocked at how little happens in this. Its still called Godzilla x Kong and they don't link up until 90 minutes into the movie.
