Like sequels of beloved movies, puberty can either be terrific, passable or really suck. So, while Riley, the lead character in Pixar’s Inside Out, has a rough-ish start to adolescence, the sequel Inside Out 2 — I’m relieved to say — is terrific.

Kelsey Mann was able to expand on what seemed like a complete story in the original film and tell a new and potent one, and that’s impressive and commendable even though — like many Pixar films — it falls apart in the details.

That's a reeeeaaaaally good movie. It's for all ages. Kids will like it because it's a pretty good story and it's the sequel of inside out. Teenagers/adults will like it because it introduces themes like puberty and revoke memories of that time.

this movie was excellent from story, to characters and animation, I think it was very entertaining.

There is, as there was in the first film, a profound sadness at the heart of Inside Out 2.

Laughs are few and far between here, but a movie about the emotional RED ALERT that heralds puberty is bound to produce a few.

Its borderline-necessary messaging doesn't render it completely invulnerable, but should Pixar be up to it, they've earned an 'Inside Out 3'.

Inside Out 2 can surely be used by parents as a teaching tool if a kid ever spirals into a freak-out before entering a new school or having a big audition. But even with the antic animation, a funny dig at Blue's Clues, and a color palette resembling an exploded box of Trix cereal, the movie suffers from a bit of a do-your-homework vibe.

Here we have another spreadsheet of a movie that conceives of the human mind with the vision of a digital artist and the ethos of a corporate accountant; a film so mercilessly “relatable” that only a chatbot could ever hope to see themselves in it.

Inside Out 2 is packed with powerful emotional moments that will have viewers laughing one minute and tearing up the next. It tackles themes of loss, identity, and emotional growth in a way that feels both honest and relatable. While younger viewers will enjoy the playful and colorful world inside the mind, older audiences will be moved by the film's more profound reflections on what it means to navigate the rollercoaster of life. The animation is stunning, with every emotional landscape brought to life in vivid, imaginative ways that draw the audience in. The characters—each representing different emotions—continue to shine, with new additions that add even more layers to the emotional spectrum.

Inside Out 2 has a lot of energetic enthusiasm from the voicing of the cast as yes it adds new characters this time which is cool but to me it will always be repetitive with scenario's but in a different setting with this franchise.

I loved the first film; this one felt like a sequel. Not quite the same level of ingenuity this time around, but still enjoyable to anyone that saw the first film.

Totalmente aburrida, esperaba más de esta película, llegue a dormirme en varias ocaciones.
