Cohen and Halberg manage an admirable faith in their own movie — delivering consistently delightful kills in a soapy story that doesn’t seem insecure until the very end.

It’s a horror movie for people who want to watch a scary movie but are hanging out with someone who gets scared very easily, and so they decide to compromise. Not too scary, not too silly, not much of anything really, but not much to complain about either.

The kills were pretty gorey and the kill scenes were pretty creative, but everything just kinda happened way too fast. It has a very basic plot but having a basic plot doesn't mean you cant execute it well. This movie has lots of potential but i doubt there will be a second movie due to reviews. they jumped into the plot way too fast, i just wish they could of broken it down slower and wouldn't have found the reason to their deaths so fast, yk make it more mysterious but also add scenes that can make us more attached to a character, i wish they made their personality's more unique, the conversations they had after witnessing a death was like any other typical horror movie from early 2000s. Visuals 10/10 Horror 9/10 but executing the plot and more is maybe around a 5-6 rating. This movie is just decent in my opinion, if you enjoy movies like "the terrifier" and "Slenderman" then you'd probably really like this movie though. i hope everyone enjoys and has a good experience watching this movie though, everyone worked super hard on this movie so please have some mercy! lol. :)

Fun quick horror movie that has plenty of creepy things and jumpscares. If you have any intrest in astrology this is a fantastic horror for you.

Tarot is a personality-less horror that doesn’t overly concern itself with either character or plot. It’s here to deliver one thing and one thing only: cool kills.

The writer-directors Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg really have no idea how to fill the gaps between deaths and even at 92 minutes, we’re left with something that feels so much longer.

While it may prove a good gateway horror for some, more experienced genre fans will likely wish it was a bit nastier.

Set in a world where every door creaks and there isn’t a single well-lit location, Tarot is little more than a clearinghouse of horror clichés.

Tarot seems perpetually uncertain about whether it should play its thinly conceived premise for laughs, or actually pursue real scares. It winds up with neither, stumbling around in the dark and turning its small ensemble into a crude means of timekeeping for its surprisingly sluggish 90-minute runtime.

If you are the kind of viewer that is not that demanding with the details and script, you are going to have a good time haha.

Ok, I know, it so clisee, but I really enjoy this movie. the ideea is ok, The horror is ok.

The story behind the story was probably about when I realized this was a pretty cool movie. The beginning is standard of what you'd expect from a group of young adults staying in an old mansion and playing with a deck of old tarot cards they weren't supposed to **** when you find out the reason why the story really quickens in pace and things start to make sense as to why each character is thrust into this horrific scenario. The creatures are creepy, to say the least, and the acting for jumpscares is fairly enjoyable.

All I will say is maybe a super crappy Tarot horror film in kin to Ouija and séance was required to help complete the cycle. Its filmed and framed with such little care for color or lighting that its almost unwatchable, and the lore is completely contrived BS.

Predecible, cliché, terror inexistente y personajes sosos e incongruentes. En fin... que alguien salve al "terror" de hoy en día.
