The Fall Guy is hugely entertaining. A love letter to stunt persons and to filmmaking in general, the film is a romantic comedy for everyone who hates romantic comedies and an action thriller for those less than keen on the genre.

This is a ridiculously fun movie, anchored by a movie star in a part that fits him perfectly and a director who really has been working toward this film for his entire career.

Just caught "The Fall Guy" and guys, does Ryan Gosling is amazing once more. Is there anything this man can't do? He's like a fine wine - always getting better. This film is a rollercoaster of genres, seamlessly blending comedy, drama, and action with a thrilling detective storyline. The laughs are peppered throughout, keeping you chuckling even as the plot thickens. And speaking of the plot, the detective angle is as exciting as they come - you'll be on the edge of your seat, trying to piece it all together. But wait, there's more! The romantic subplot is just as pulse-pounding as the mystery. Who knew love could be as exhilarating as a car chase? Speaking of chases, the stunt work in this film is just incredible. They have really outdone themselves this time! Only the fact, that they have **** a Guinness World Record with a jaw-dropping 8.5 car rolls in one sequence. And that jump at the end? Let's just say it'll make your popcorn fly. If you're a fan of cinematic Easter eggs, you're in for a treat. This movie is like a treasure hunt for film geeks - blink and you'll miss a hundred references hidden in the dialogue, scenes, and genre nods. And they are done as they should! So, if you're looking for a good film tonight, "The Fall Guy" is your ticket to ride.

We loved this movie. It was fascinating to see how stunts are done and the crazy dangers that are undertaken. The love story was charming and amusing. And the action was continuous and exciting. It was fun from start to finish.

The Fall Guy is a delight from start to finish, thanks to a sparkling script, thrilling action sequences and to-die-for comic chemistry between the two leads.

The Fall Guy is funny, it’s sexy, and it features the boy toy version of “Barbie” MVP Ryan Gosling — which is to say, this time around, he embodies the ultimate action figure.

Loosely inspired by the Lee Majors-starring TV show from the 1980s and given a rocket-booster jolt of stardom from the pairing of Gosling and Emily Blunt, “The Fall Guy” is pure popcorn entertainment — an absolutely ludicrous yet consistently entertaining, old-fashioned action/romance combo platter that plays like a feature-length pitch to the Academy to add a best stunts category (as it should).

A solid serving of popcorn entertainment.

The latest jacked up, action extravaganza from stunt man turned director David Leitch (his last film, the not-very-good Bullet Train, is still leagues ahead of this movie in terms of imagination and execution), teems with contempt for the audience it is desperate to win over.

Reminds me of 90s movies like lethal weapon and beverly hills cop. There's a lot going on this film and was surprised by how the events made the plot deeper without spoiling anything. If you liked Blade Runner, Drive and all of those Gosling movies you will love this. Exceeded my expectations

The story was acceptable albeit cliché. The acting was good and I thought Blunt and Gosling had decent chemistry. I was shipping for them, although due to the see through plot it was obvious how the story would turn out. The movie could have done with a little more comedy, but it was decently entertaining. The only thing I didn’t care for was the music. The musical selections were mostly horrible. Whoever chose the music for this movie should stop.

a movie so fun and full of things that it ends up being a double-edged sword resulting in tiring and overcrowded moment

There's way too much relationship drama and the plot is just dumb imo. Also Hannah Waddingham makes me want to grind my teeth so hard they all fall out.

Zero chemistry between two charismatic and appealing actors (Gosling and Blunt). Did not expect a great plot, but the writing limped along as well. I'm sure there's about 4500 Hollywood insiders chucking at all the in-jokes and "meta" references. For the rest of us, not so much. Why did they bother to make this movie? A miss.
