Amit Shah criticizes Kejriwal over ’Sheesh Mahal’ and corruption (original) (raw)

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during an election rally in Jangpura, promised that if the BJP comes to power, they will open Arvind Kejriwal`s "Sheesh Mahal" for public viewing. Shah criticized Kejriwal, saying that in 2013, Kejriwal had promised not to take a car, house, or security after becoming Chief Minister, but he later accepted a car and bungalow. Shah alleged that Kejriwal built the "Sheesh Mahal" for himself, showing greed. He questioned who the Rs 51,000 crore, which he claimed was misused, really belongs to, suggesting it should belong to the people of Delhi. He ended by asking whether Kejriwal, accused of corruption, should be voted into power again.
