Proterozoic, high-grade, bedded iron deposits interbedded with banded iron formations, iron silicates, greywacke and granite gneiss, granite and hornblende gneiss. Explored by drilling; eventual open pit production planned. First production scheduled for 2015.
Located in the northern part of Baffin Island.
