Name:
Named in honor of Adolf Pabst (30 November 1899, Chicago, Illinois, USA - 3 April 1990, Berkeley, California, USA), mineralogist. He served as president of the Mineralogical Society of America, the International Mineralogical Association, and the Crystallographic Society of America. He was awarded the 1965 Roebling Medal.
