Model, presenter and former Strictly Come Dancing winner Abbey Clancy, along with former footballer husband Peter Crouch, could almost field a five-a-side of team of their own, with four children aged five to 13. Yet, despite coming from a big family herself, Abbey's put an end to speculation about baby number five.

Playful as ever, Abbey quipped to Closer Magazine, "I've got a new baby. He arrived last week, my stray kitten from Portugal. He's the only newborn that's going to be in our house, I think."

Both Abbey and Peter have said that four kids will probably be the limit for them.

In a candid chat in 2019 with Lorraine Kelly, Abbey shared the challenges of parenting., saying: "having four children, spreading my time equally between the four is hard."

As for Peter, he's on the same page, confirming no more additions to the gang while chatting with Laura Whitmore on Save Our Summer, saying, "Oh 100% [we are not having another child]," relishing his two sons and two daughters, calling himself blessed, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Parenting is a rollercoaster for Abbey, who adores being a mum. She explained on her Therapy Couch podcast: "The best thing about being a parent is creating these lives and bringing them into the world... It's unconditional love. You don't know anything like it."

Still, Abbey openly speaks of the demands of a full house, saying that sometimes "When I'm at home and the kids are driving me crazy, I want to go to work and be on my own for an hour."

Abbey's eldest daughters, Sophia Ruby and Liberty Rose, have occasionally joined her in the modelling spotlight. They strutted their stuff at Frozen Fashion Week in 2020, channelling Disney's Anna and Elsa and capturing attention in a photography session with Mary McCartney, daughter of former Beatle Sir Paul.

Nevertheless, Abbey's no stage mum, insisting: "I wouldn't force them into doing it, [modelling]. But if it's something they want to do then I'll support them all the way. I think it's important to be really happy and to have fun."
