The Inbetweeners stars spark reunion rumours as they get together for brand new clip
Stars from The Inbetweeners sparked speculation that a new movie could be in the works when they reunited for an advertisement.
One of the stars, Joe Thomas, recently got fans excited about the possibility, when he teased a reunion. Last month, he revealed that ideas had been pitched about the four friends returning for more misadventures and he thinks if the story is good enough then fans will get an 'Inbetweeners' reunion.
The show aired on E4 between 2008 and 2010, with the first movie being released in 2011. A second movie came out three years later. And now, fans believe there could be another as Simon Bird, 40, who played Will Mackenzie, and Jessica Knappett, 39, who played Lisa in the movie, shot an advert together.
Simon and Jessica filmed an advert for the Hilton Hotel as Simon visited Cambridge, his old university town. Settling The Great Travel Debate, they discussed what makes the best stay at a hotel, such as tucked bed sheets, bathrobes, unpacking suitcases and more. He said: "It was great fun to be back in Cambridge for a fiery and full-throated debate with my good friend Jess Knappett."

He continued: "I was delighted to learn that the majority of Brits follow my lead and unpack on arrival. 'Chaos is the law of nature, order is the dream of man' - that's my motto. I look forward to hearing where the country stands on other travel-related hot potatoes. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion of course. Unless they disagree with me, in which case they could not be more wrong."
It has been 10 years since the first movie was released and fans could be seeing the third instalment. Speaking to The Always Be Comedy podcast, Joe recently discussed the possibility of another movie. He said: "Yes, it’s happened in various forms. All of us feel it would be nice to do." Joe has remained good friends with all of the main cast members including James Buckley, Simon and Blake Harrison.
He told the podcast: "We’re all still around, we’re all still in each other’s lives. We all still like each other. And if it was something that came up, I think we would want to do it. I feel like we all still really like each other." He added: "We’ve all been able to go away and get various monkeys off our backs, in terms of things that we felt we needed to do other than The Inbetweeners to prove something to ourselves." He then hinted that "some of the ideas out there" include a stag do in Las Vegas.
James, who played Jay Cartwright, also discussed his 'excitement'. On his 'At Home With The Buckleys' YouTube channel, he expressed his excitement: "I know as much as everyone else. It's exciting though, I'm excited about the idea of it. I read about it in the paper, and I was like, 'Bloody hell, it's brilliant.' In talks. No one's talking to me. Let's see what happens."
