Sophie Turner fans are thrilled after the actress went Instagram official with her new boyfriend.

The Game of Thrones star, 28, has shown off her new aristocrat boyfriend Peregrine Pearson, 29, just days after her divorce with ex-husband Joe Jonas, 35, was finalised. Sophie confirmed their romance with a picture of the couple on social media.

Sophie, who shares Willa, three, and Delphine, one, with ex-husband Joe, posted a series of snaps from the summer on Instagram. In two snaps, her new boyfriend can be seen relaxing.

The mother-of-two has made several appearances with Peregrine and confirmed their relationship last December following the news that Sophie and Joe had filed for divorce in September. At the time the couple said in a statement: "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly, this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."

Fans have gone wild for Sophie's Instagram official update. One commented: "I think I can speak for all of us when I say I’m so glad you are free to be whoever you want to be and are happy. Peregrine is the eldest son and heir of Michael Pearson, the 4th Viscount Cowdray – a former film producer. While Sophie is said to be worth £10million, Peregrine's family fortune is said to be more than £224million. Peregrine owns a £5million home in Chelsea while his father owns a huge mansion in West Sussex with 22 bedrooms and 16,500 acres of grounds.

Earlier this year, Sophie opened up to Vogue about her public break up with the Jonas Brothers member. The 28-year-old said: "It was to the point that I came back home and didn’t know how to do anything for myself." Speaking about the limelight on her relationship, she said: "There was a lot of attention on the three brothers, and the wives. Well, we were always called the wives, and I hated that.

"It was kind of this plus-one feeling. And that’s nothing to do with him – in no way did he make me feel that – it was just that the perception of us was as the groupies in the band."
