Michelle Heaton breaks down as she apologises to Lorraine

The star names are again right behind Asda's Tickled Pink campaign as it celebrates its 25th year.

The special cause has raised a whopping £77 million for Breast Cancer Care since it started in 1996 - not to mention saving many lives.

October marks Breast Cancer Awareness month, and in years gone by brands and companies have always aimed to raise crucial funds for the worthy charities.

One woman every eight minutes is diagnosed with breast cancer here in the UK, and there aren't many more worthy cause to get involved with and help raise more vital funds for.

It seems the celebs have the same opinion too, and you can't miss their support.

TV favourite Lorraine Kelly will even climb what she says is Britain's biggest boob to make her point.

The 61-year-old will head to the O2 along with other inspiring women in for a very brave challenge.

Discussing the campaign, Lorraine said: "I’m proudly wearing my Asda Tickled Pink t-shirt again this year, celebrating the 25th anniversary.

"The campaign has raised vital funds over the years for Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! who both do amazing work."

Singer Michelle Heaton has more reason than most to be involved.

Comedian Katherine Ryan has got plenty to say on an important subject

Back in 2012, she underwent a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction surgery after being diagnosed with the BRCA2 gene .

It could have led to her developing breast and/or ovarian cancer.

Being an ambassador for Breast Cancer Now, Michelle said: "As a carrier of the faulty BRCA2 gene, I know first-hand the hope that breast cancer research brings, both for now and the future.

"That’s why Tickled Pink is so close to my heart, and I’m honoured to be supporting the campaign again this year. I encourage everyone to wear a Tickled Pink t-shirt this October to support research that could be vital for future generations.”

Comedian and presenter Katherine Ryan is also backing the campaign and has a clear message.

"Don’t forget to check your boobs, it can be life-changing," she said.

"You can pick up Asda Tickled Pink products in store to make a donation towards this amazing campaign too."

CoppaFeel! patron Dermot O'Leary added "I am very proud to be a patron of CoppaFeel! A charity founded out of a desire to truly make a difference and save lives. Together with Asda Tickled Pink we do just that!"

Actresses Georgia May Foote, Fay Ripley, Television presenter Gaby Roslin and Love Island couple Olivia and Alex Bowen are also backing the campaign.
