University of York chef Claudia Lawrence went missing in 2009 aged 35. She was last seen nearing her home in the Heworth area of the city on 18 March and reported missing the following day. Six weeks later, the investigation was reclassified to a suspected murder inquiry, although North Yorkshire Police have acknowledged they have no evidence that Claudia is dead
