Kobbie Mainoo is a creative midfielder who came through Manchester United's youth set up before making his senior debut in the Carabao Cup quarter-final with Charlton in January 2023. He scored his first goal for the club in a 4-2 away win at Newport County in the FA Cup fourth round.

He scored his first Premier League goal in a 4-3 win at Wolves with the winning goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time. He scored his first goal at Old Trafford against Liverpool in the 2-2 Premier League draw in 2024.
