Glastonbury Festival goers are set to miss a significant event this weekend as it clashes with some of the festival's biggest acts. England's men's football team has secured its place in the Euros round of 16, with the next match scheduled for Sunday, June 30.
The 5pm kick-off on Sunday will coincide with performances from some of the festival's top names, leading to potential scheduling conflicts for fans. It's worth noting that Glastonbury won't be showing any of the Euros matches, so attendees will need to try and stream the games on their own devices - a potentially challenging task at Worthy Farm.
England's Sunday match will overlap with Pyramid Stage artist Janelle Monae's set, which is due to run from 5.45pm to 6.45pm. The start of the game also clashes with the end of the Legend's Tea Time slot, featuring Shania Twain from 3.45pm to 5pm.

Over on the Other Stage, the match will again conflict with two acts. Nothing But Thieves will be performing from 4.30pm to 5.30pm, followed by 'Sk8er Boi' singer Avril Lavigne from 6pm to 7pm, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Jordan Rakei's set (5pm to 6pm) and Brittany Howard's performance (6.30pm to 7.30pm) on West Holts will also clash with England's round of 16 game, as will Alvvays (5pm to 6pm) and Kim Gordon's (6.30pm to 7.30pm) sets on Woodsies.
Glastonbury heads have decided against screening any Euros 2024 Last 16 matches at this year's festival, despite previous attempts to show key football games on big screen before the main music acts begin. This comes as England and Scotland men's teams face potential Round of 16 games clashing with headline sets over the festival weekend.
The iconic festival issued a statement confirming its position: "Should England or Scotland's men's teams qualify from the group stages of this summer's European Football Championships in Germany, their matches in the Last 16 of the tournament could take place on the Saturday or Sunday evening of this year's Festival."
It elaborated on previous practices and why this year is different: "In previous years, we have endeavoured to show notable matches on big screens where possible, particularly on days before the main stages have opened. However, with England and Scotland's Last 16 matches potentially clashing with headline sets at this year's Festival, the decision has been made that as in 2014 and 2016 should England or Scotland qualify from their groups, their Last 16 matches will not be shown at the Festival."
Furthermore, it addressed fans' concerns and clarified: "It won't be known until the week of the Festival whether or not England or Scotland will actually play a match during the Festival. But, as we have already been asked about our plans, we wanted to let everyone know well in advance that the decision has been made not to screen the potential matches."
The message included a shout-out to the home nations, expressing: "We would like to wish both Gareth Southgate and Steve Clarke's sides all the best in Germany. And we hope we'll all be able to watch them play Quarter Final matches in the days after this year's Festival."
Unfortunately, Scotland's hopes were dashed as they couldn't progress from Group A following a defeat to Hungary earlier in the week.
