Brits flock to Disneyland in their thousands every year, lured by the enchanting and awe-inspiring atmosphere of the theme park.

Yet, dressing up as beloved characters doesn't always end in a fairy tale scenario. Recently, parents were left stunned when they caught sight of Minnie Mouse being unmasked at a non-Disney holiday resort.

The person beneath the costume was far from the expected fairytale princess, as shown by a TikTok video, uploaded by darkamusements.

According to their clip, Minnie is actually a man who enjoys a smoke. A bloke dressed as the children's character was filmed with his headpiece hoisted up, puffing on a cigarette during a break.

The viral clip was captioned: "Wow, Minnie Mouse has had a hard shift." And it's certainly divided opinions online!

Since its upload, the video has racked up more than eight million views, with viewers expressing their shock. Many couldn't fathom why the man chose to reveal himself in such a public setting.

However, some saw the lighter side, and began comparing him to various celebrities. One user quipped: "That's Miguel Mouse." Another chimed in with: "Why does he look like Danny Trejo?"

A third suggested: "Captain Hook in disguise." Meanwhile, a fourth added: "That's not Minnie bro, that's Mario."

While some couldn't resist cracking jokes, others were genuinely taken aback at the sight of the iconic mouse revealed. The revelation was simply too much for them.

One person expressed their dismay, saying: "Never hugging Minnie Mouse in Disneyland again." Another shared their horror with: "Imagine seeing this as a kid. Childhood over immediately."

Someone else lamented: "That just ruined my childhood." One more added: "The gasp I gasped."

However, there were voices calling for a bit of compassion, urging others to go easy on the comments, and remember that the person behind the mask is just trying to make it through their work day.
