People have been looking for cheaper ways to stay warm as temperatures drop across the country - and the discount store has one such item proving popular

B&M has been praised for selling a new 'cosy' item that is keeping people 'nice and warm' for less than £15. From food and toys to homeware, B&M is known for selling almost anything you could need.

The budget store also stocks a limited range of clothing - including thermal pieces. With temperatures starting to drop across the UK, Brits will no doubt be looking to keep warm for less.

Lots have already made a vow to do anything but touch their heating unless absolutely necessary. This is because the cost of energy bills is expected to increase once again this winter.

That said, there are plenty of alternatives that shouldn't break the bank. Lots of people are investing in extra layers for both comfort and warmth this winter.

One such option that has been a hit on social media recently is B&M's Sherpa Lined Fleece Top. It comes in different colours and styles, and only costs £14.

Shoppers can get it in either black, khaki or cream, with a choice to get a patterned version as well - giving customers six options to choose from in total. B&M promises the fleece will "elevate your winter wardrobe" whilst being "perfect for layering up on chilly days".

One TikTok user opted for the patterned cream version when showing off her plans to keep warm at home this season. Chloe England urged people to "run to B&M" in her now viral video that was flooded with comments.

One said: "Oh wow, such a bargain!" Another wrote: "I feel like the box is making this less serious than it actually is. It deserves a hanger!"

A third shopper, asked: "What aisle are they in girlie?" Chloe responded to say they were "in the Christmas aisle" and pointed out that they were "on one of the top shelves".

Someone else said: "Way too stylish to be B&M!" A fifth said: "They're soo lush, I want them all!"

The fleece's online listing confirms that it is available in a range of sizes, meaning there should be something available to fit most body types. The sizes include: Small (8-10), Medium (12-14), Large (16-18) and X-Large (20-22).
