A four-bedroom detached home is on sale for an incredibly cheap 25,000 euros - £21,000 - in Ireland but there is a catch for house hunters looking for a bargain.

There may be plenty of land with the property in Foxhall West, Colmanswell, Limerick, more than 2,000 square feet but the house is also crumbling and full of rubbish inside. It appears as though the previous owner was a hoarder with so much clutter while the house has also fallen into a bad state of disrepair.

Images show the house is practically falling apart and a bathroom appears to have sticks and vegetation building up while wallpaper can be seen falling down from the ceiling of other rooms which are in a similarly poor condition and full of rubbish. The property is going up for Sale by Public & Online Auction on July 31 commencing at GVM Limerick City Auction Rooms in Limerick.

"GVM Auctioneers are delighted to present to the market for sale by Public & Online Auction (on behalf of Limerick City & County Council) this detached two storey three bay former parochial house and a derelict former church set on 0.196 hectares of land (approx. 0.5 acres)," states the listing, reported Media Drum World.

"The property has been vacant and in a derelict condition for a considerable period. The site is located in Foxhall West, Colmanswell between Ballyagran and Charleville and is approx. 5 km from Charleville. The former parochial house is a substantial size of approximately 192 sq.m / 2,066 sq. ft comprising on the ground floor of two reception rooms on either side of an entrance hallway which then leads to a kitchen, store room and downstairs toilet.

"Upstairs there are 4 large bedrooms and a bathroom on the return. The property is in need of complete refurbishment. It is not possible to view the interior as the property is completely congested with contents and would be unsafe to enter.
