Liverpool will continue their Carabao Cup defence away to Brighton, with the other fourth round highlights including Tottenham vs Manchester City.

Liverpool and Arsenal claimed victories on Wednesday night to ensure 15 of the 16 teams in the draw are confirmed. Arne Slot's team began their defence of the trophy by coming from behind to beat West Ham, while a heavily-rotated Arsenal side still had too much for Bolton Wanderers.

City's match against Spurs is a repeat of the 2021 final, when Pep Guardiola's side won 1-0. Manchester United take on Leicester in one of the other all Premier League ties, while Crystal Palace will travel to Aston Villa.

There are three Championship sides left in the draw. Sheffield Wednesday are away to Brentford, with Stoke at Southampton and Preston North End hosting Arsenal

There's still one game remaining, with Newcastle and AFC Wimbledon due to play on October 1. Their initial game was postponed after flooding in South London made the Dons' pitch unplayable, and the winners will have Chelsea at home in round four.

Chelsea and Manchester United both enjoyed comfortable victories in round three. The Blues put five past Barrow, with United having beaten Barnsley 7-0 last week.

The fourth round games will take place at the end of October. However, all 16 teams will - with varying degrees of confidence - will have half an eye on the final at Wembley in March.
