Micah Richards left Kate Scott (nee Abdo) in tears as he gloated over receiving David Beckham's 'sticky stuff'.

The pair, alongside Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher, discussed the former England captain's appearance during their Champions League coverage the previous day. The ex-Manchester United, Real Madrid and LA Galaxy midfielder gatecrashed to promote his own, new Champions League show and brought a number of presents.

Scott was presented with a Manchester United shirt and congratulated on her marriage to American boxing trainer Malik Scott by Beckham. The remaining trio each received a pot of honey.

Wednesday evening saw an enthusiastic Richards reminisce about the meeting and reflected once again on the gift delivered to him by Beckham. The ex-Man City reflected on his 'bromance' with Beckham and stated: "I got his sticky stuff as well didn't I?"

A stunned pause emerged across the studio before Carragher and Scott burst into laughter, with the latter immediately apologising for her outburst. Richards quickly looked to defend himself.

"The honey Jamie. The honey! What is wrong with your minds? It says on the honey, 'David Beckham's Sticky Stuff."

The camera continued to pan cut to Richards' colleagues as Henry covered his face with paper. Carragher and Scott meanwhile contiued to struggle to stifle their laughter.

"Should we go to Peter in Manchester?" the latter struggled to suggest amidst her laught before introducted former Manchster United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel. The Denmark national was at the Etihad Stadium ahead of Man City's clash with Inter Milan.

As the in-studio team attempted to compose themselves, Schmeichel turned away from his camera. Scott called: "Peter you're up."

The former shotstopper glanced back and forth and said: "I can't be watching this!" It appears he had caught the interaction between his colleagues.

Elsewhere in the show, it appears that Scott was getting used to her new surname. It wasn't a moment that would be brushed over.

"Good evening and a very warm welcome to our Champions League post-match show, it is so good to have you with us tonight. Kate Ab... Kate" said Scott, before eating her words and burying her head in her hands as Henry, Richards and Carragher sparked into laughter.

"Sorry Malik," she added, as her colleagues taunted her efforts.
