Get ready for some major staycation inspiration - the best hotels in the UK for 2018 have been revealed.

TripAdvisor has unveiled the nation's top 10 best hotels from luxury stays to budget-friendly breaks as part of its annual Travellers' Choice awards .

Topping the list is stylish boutique Hotel 41 in London, thanks to its eye-catching decor and central location a stone's throw away from Buckingham Palace.

London proved to be a hit with visitors, with plenty of the top hotels based in the English capital despite the more expensive prices. Still, it's not impossible to find cheap hotels in London if you're on a budget.
