Bridgerton’s Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha were spotted filming sizzling scenes for the upcoming fourth season of the hit Netflix show in London.
Luke will reprise his role as Benedict Bridgerton for the next instalment of the hugely successful romantic period drama, which has gained cult-like status from fans thanks to the show’s saucy X-rated scenes. Newcomer Yerin Ha is playing Benedict’s love interest Sophie Baek, and the plot will be based on Julia Quinn’s third Bridgerton novel, An Offer From A Gentleman, which sees Benedict fall in love with Sophie, who is the illegitimate daughter of the Earl of Penwood.
Luke and Yerin were spotted filming scenes for the fourth season in south London, as they wore masquerade masks and ran from a ball held at the stately home to a secluded pergola in the estate’s lavish gardens. It seemed their love blossomed as they danced in the masks away from the glare of the stuffy society guests inside, and fans will be overjoyed to see that Luke and Yerin share some sizzling on-screen chemistry.

Yerin grabbed her dress as she and Luke headed down the stairs and took refuge in a flower adorned pergola. As they danced away from the other guests, Benedict pulled Sophie in close, and his hand was seen clutching her back.
In the book, Sophie’s identity is concealed at Violet’s masquerade ball, and in a Cinderella twist, she catches the eye of Benedict and they fall head over heels in love. They share a kiss, but she flees the ball with her two wicked step-sisters before he can uncover her real identity, but Benedict quickly snatches a glove from her hand in an effort to track down the woman of his dreams.

Netflix confirmed that production was officially underway earlier this week, as they introduced fans to Luke and Yerin. “Please rise for Sophie Baek & Benedict Bridgerton!!! Here’s your first official photo of Yerin Ha and Luke Thompson on the set of Bridgerton Season 4. Now OFFICIALLY in production,” the caption read on Instagram. Other cast members set to return include Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton.
However, Bridgerton fans were devastated when it was confirmed the fourth season wouldn’t air on the streaming service until 2026. Showrunner Jess Brownell told The Hollywood Reporter that it would be a lengthy wait for viewers, as she announced the cast and crew are working on a “two-year pace”.

She added: “We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited, and then they have to be dubbed into every language. And the writing takes a very long time as well, so we’re kind of on a two-year pace, we’re trying to speed up, but somewhere in that range.”
