Emmerdale fans could be seeing violent scenes ahead as a health scare and a terrifying showdown

Emmerdale has teased a mystery spoiler confirming at least one character will likely be rushed to hospital next week.

The cryptic spoiler image shows an ambulance in the Dales, while not in the main village, with the blue lights flashing as if an emergency has occurred. The ominous spoiler for the episode thought to be airing on Friday 27 September simply reads: "An ambulance arrives in the village..."

No other spoilers or details are given and there isn't even a synopsis for this episode. Interestingly it follows two characters facing danger in separate incidents in the previous episode on Thursday 26 September.

Eric Pollard will suffer a health scare at the GP surgery, when he suffers from an angina attack. John Sugden plays the hero though, managing to prevent it.

But could the ambulance be for Eric and could his health woe lead to a more serious incident? If not Eric, perhaps Tom King or Belle Dingle will face peril as a showdown ensues.

As the soap's domestic abuse storylines continues, Belle contemplates reporting her abusive husband to the police. But just as she thinks she is getting through to his 'new flame' Amelia Spencer about his actions, horror strikes.

Belle is waiting at the Dingles' house to speak with Amelia who claims she's ready to talk. But as Belle considers her next actions she is horrified when Tom lets himself into the house and locks the door.

He conceals the exit with her unable to flee as the pair come face-to-face. But is Belle in danger and will one of them end up in the ambulance?
