GMB: Susanna Reid reflects on being 'shaken' by mugging

Good Morning Britain viewers saw a presenter shake-up during Wednesday's episode.

Usually, Susanna Reid and either Ed Balls or Richard Madeley host the ITV programme during the beginning of the week. However, in the latest instalment, money-saving expert Martin Lewis was at the forefront.

Introducing the show, Susanna said: "Martin, it's wonderful to have you back in the studio!"

Smiling at his co-star, he informed her: "It's wallet Wednesday."

The GMB star informed viewers Martin was on the show for an important reason as he was going to be helping people with their energy bills.

Susanna highlighted he was only on the programme two weeks ago, however, the energy price cap has now risen by 10%

Martin replied: "I wasn't quite sure we'd be doing this but there's a lot that's changed."

During the programme, the money-saving expert helped three viewers live on air who came into the studio.

The guests were unsure whether to fix or switch as the energy price cap has risen by 10%.

After crunching some numbers and going onto a comparison site, many of them managed to cut their bills drastically.

Speaking to one guest in particular, Susanna asked what stopped her from taking action before appearing on the show.

She told the host: "Honestly? I am a busy mum of two. I work and if we've survived the day the thought then of going onto my energy site and finding a password that I've forgotten it all just feels like too much."

However, Martin quickly cut her off, asking how long it took her in reality to sort her energy bill out.

Laughing, she replied: "I have to say, I'm embarrassed at how quick it was. It was less than three minutes for me to get a list of comparisons."
