Nadia is announced as the Big Brother winner in 2004

Loose Women fans hailed Kate Garraway as "so beautiful" after they were treated to an unearthed throwback snap from over 20-years ago.

The daytime panel on Tuesday (August 13) included Christine Lampard, dame Kelly Holmes, Brenda Edwards and Coleen Nolan, with the foursome then being joined by Big Brother's first ever transgender winner, Nadia Almada, on the 20th anniversary of her epic victory.

Her 2004 win was huge triumph, not only for Nadia as a personal achievement but for the trans community too. The TV star was brave and bold and the public, along with her housemates all loved her.

At the time, Nadia had believed that she wouldn't be accepted and that making the final would have just been a distant dream. But it wasn't, the reality star was totally loved.

As the panel were discussing that particular moment, producers treated fans to a little throwback clip, showing a tearful Nadia sat with a stunning Kate Garraway.

Nadia, appeared exactly the same as she did then, except now she'd switched up her look opting for blonde bombshell hair, instead of her raven cork-screw curls.

Fans went wild over the Kate Garraway throwback

But it was Kate's appearance on the ITV breakfast programme from two decades ago that seemed to spark up the most attention with internet goers online.

After the clip aired, fans of the GMB star bombarded Twitter - now X - with their comments. One person penned: "Good lord, Kate Garraway so young! #loosewomen," along with an eye-popping emoji.

Another person penned: "Oh wow, Kate so beautiful," as a third jested: "GMTV gosh I'm old."

Meanwhile, Kate appeared to be a talking point in the news again today, after she'd failed to turn up for Good Morning Britain after announcing a "family crisis" was underway while on-air on Monday.

The mum-of-two was expected to host alongside Richard Madeley but instead he was joined by ITV legend and chat show host Trisha Goddard, who was filling the void on the programme.

Trisha's appearance was certainly welcomed by fans who praised the star for her presenting stint, given she is also battling terminal breast cancer. "Can't believe Trisha is on #gmb today. Brilliant," added one online user.

A second comment read: "It's refreshing to have Trisha on @GMB. Can't we have her as a regular co presenter for @susannareid100? The current male line up isn't great, bring in Trisha full time! #gmb."

"Lovely to see Trisha hosting this morning," gushed another as a fourth said: "I love Trisha very much, she is a very talented journalist."

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1, from 12:30pm.
