E4's Married At First Sight UK is back and this year, the show has an additional twist with the second-ever lesbian partnership - but where is MAFS' Eve now?

Reality TV enthusiasts, get ready to clear your schedules because Married At First Sight UK is making its grand return to screens on Monday, 16 September.

The much-loved E4 series is back with a fresh batch of hopeful singles ready to tie the knot at first sight. Love gurus Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson, and Charlene Douglas have played cupid, pairing up 16 brave souls who will say 'I do' to complete strangers in a bid for 'true' love.

Post-nuptials, the couples will whisk away on romantic honeymoons, then cohabit back in the UK. The journey continues with dinner parties and commitment ceremonies, all under the watchful eyes of the matchmaking experts.

This season features the show's second lesbian couple, with Eve, a 31-year-old fitness instructor and lifeguard from Omagh, Co Tyrone, walking down the aisle with Charlie, aged 30.

Eve, who was once engaged to a man, embraced her 'true' self at 26 and is now on the quest to find her forever partner, reports Belfast Live.

While we're all biting our nails to see if Eve's televised romance flourishes, her social media teases that she might just be smitten. A recent post shows Eve hand-in-hand with an unseen companion, while a July snapshot captures her beaming in a restaurant, alongside the caption: "Somebody making me smile the whole weekend."

Eve, a hopeful on Married At First Sight UK, shared her romantic aspirations: "I want to find somebody that I fall in love with and I want somebody to fall in love with me."

In her introductory clip for MAFS, Eve divulged her unique traits and the kind of romance she's after, saying: "I would make the perfect partner because I'm bubbly and outgoing."

The 31-year-old expressed her dream date as a beach outing topped off with ice cream and is on the lookout for a "really funny" mate. She highlighted that "biggest dealbreaker is loyalty" is her ultimate dealbreaker and "love language is physical touch" is her preferred love language.

MAFS UK is set to hit television screens again on Monday, 16 September at 9pm on E4. Mel, the relationship guru, hinted that this season's participants are "relatable".

While chatting on Heart Radio, Mel spoke about the upcoming series: "I think a lot of our audience are going to find them very relatable. You're going to see a lot of yourself in this group. There's been an accusation of [fame-hunger] in the past, but I think you're going to see it a bit differently for the next UK season. 'Down to earth' is a very good description."
