NTAs 2024: Michelle Keegan's cheeky co-star flashes his nipple

Actress Michelle Keegan was left red faced when her co-star flashed behind her on live TV.

The former Coronation Street star, 37, joined stars of the small screen at last night's National Television Awards. She was nominated for the Drama Performance award for her hit role in Netflix series Fool Me Once. However, during the live show Michelle got more than she'd bargained for thanks to Brassic co-star Ryan Sampson.

Ryan, 38, plays Tommo in the Sky comedy-drama series, which Michelle also stars in as Erin Croft. During the nominations reading for best Drama Performance, Ryan cheekily showed his nipple to the camera as he sat behind Michelle. The actress missed out on the award to Toby Jones for his role as Sir Alan Bates in Mr Bates vs the Post Office.

Michelle was joined by her husband Mark Wright at the glitzy award show. They both stunned in matching black outfits as Michelle dazzled in a black pinstripe mini dress with cape, while former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark, 37, looked dapper in a black silk shirt under a black suit.

Sadly, Michelle lost out on all three awards she was up for. Her programme Brassic was nominated for the Comedy category but lost out to Mrs Brown's Boys. Fool Me Once missed out on New Drama and Michelle was beaten to the Drama Performance award. After the award show, Michelle and Mark decided to head home instead of party among the other stars.

She posted a photo to her Instagram that showed the couple were watching Netflix as they tucked into a plate of noodles each with cheese on top and mayonnaise on the side. The pair's adorable pet dog also joined in as he sat on their bed. Michelle and Mark have been busy with their extensive renovations of their £3.5 million Essex mansion.

The couple regularly offer glimpses into their home via their Instagram accounts. Work began to improve their home in 2019 and came to an end in August last year. Michelle recently revealed their impressive garden that includes a bar, kitchen, dining space, and outdoor heating as well as a pizza oven.

Michelle and Mark first snapped up the property for £1.3 million in 2019. At the time it came with extensive land which the pair decided to completely overhaul and rebuild the mansion of their dreams. Speaking to the Observer last year, Michelle opened up about the renovation project she and Mark oversaw.

The star said: "I was filming in Australia and hadn't seen the house for months. And when I walked in, Mark had lit all the candles and… I couldn't speak for five minutes. He was like, 'What do you think?' I couldn't find the words to say how I felt, because I was so overwhelmed. I just burst out crying. It still gets me emotional. Because we've worked really hard for it. We've had to make a lot of sacrifices."
