It's not easy to burn a Dreamcat disc, because it's not as CD ROM, it's a GD ROM, about 1 gig capacity, if I'm not mistaken. I don't think it'll work.

I have a PAL Dreamcast and I use a program called XPloder to play NTSC games. I'm not sure it works the other way around, though.

Have you considered modifying your Dreamcast?

i'm not planning on burning the game, i own a legal copy so no reason to. i think most of the boot discs like xploder or gameshark are cd-r, but you need special software to burn one, i'm just at a loss as to what software to use on a mac. i've been told nero, but again no idea if there's a mac version. (also heard discjuggler but i can't find a mac version.)

and i don't want to mod my dc if i can just get a disc for loading games. anyway besides shenmue 2 there aren't that many dc games i want to import.

[edit: i should have been more clear, cd-x is yet another boot disc like xploder or gameshark. that's what i was talking about burning, not the game itself.]

Oh. I see. So this CD-X is in downloaded format, right? You can't just buy it on a disc, you have to download it and then burn? I'm just guessing, it does sound pretty silly for a software that is used exclusively as a CD, but then I don't understand why you have to burn it...

i can buy it, but there's a legal free version of it (trial version) so why buy something you can get for free? if i can't figure this out tho i'll just buy a copy. i think playasia is selling them. (none on ebay.)
