Game Groups > Protagonist: Female (option)

Games in which at least one playable character (protagonist) of the game is a female in gender (heroine) among other options. The character can be either predefined or created in the character creator.

Limitations

Games which only have female protagonist(s) belong to the main Protagonist: Female group instead.
In games where a large number of player units is controlled, such as strategy/tactics games, only the character(s) representing the player count(s) - e.g. IMP mercenary in the Jagged Alliance series or the customizable ruler unit in the Age of Wonders series. Female characters being merely controllable units and/or making appearances in the storyline (e.g. Tanya Adams in C&C: Red Alert titles) do not qualify.
In campaign modes where multiple predefined characters get their storylines, any campaign or section thereof with a female character qualifies - e.g. the Night Elf campaign in WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos as led by Tyrande Whisperwind, or Arcade Mode storylines in fighting games.
