Will there be any changes in the movie?
Feb. 24, 2012 Other than the post-production 3D conversion, the movie will be exactly as it was in its 1997 theatrical release. In a October 2011 talk, James Cameron said that he would not change a single frame of the original movie.

Will there be a sequel?
Mar. 25, 2012 No. Other than the re-release of the original movie, James Cameron has stated he would not alter the original nor it is likely he would ever approve a sequel. While there are movies titled Titanic 2, they are completely unrelated to the James Cameron movie.
