Abstract
This commentary is intended to expand the discussion around comparisons of topical bakuchiol to topical retinol. The state of the evidence for existing retinoid studies, the limitations in previous assessment methodologies, and the evolution of newer methods with high resolution image analysis-based techniques are explored.
