It's been over a month since Microsoft rolled out its last Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview, build 10080. But the launch of a new phone build has been looking increasingly likely in recent days, particularly after Gabe Aul, head of the Windows Insiders program, recently hinted that build 10136 might be the one that rolls out.

Today, Gabe turned to the Insiders community to ask for their help in deciding whether or not that build should go out now.

@GabeAul We have a bug upgrading from 10080.

The existence of that bug means that Microsoft now faced a tough choice: roll it out now, but require users to perform a system restore to go back to Windows Phone 8.1, and upgrade to 10136 from there; or delay the rollout for a week or so, until engineers have had a chance to fix the upgrade issue.

@GabeAul So our choices are: 1. Go to Fast anyway, require you to WPRT back to 8.1 2. or keep working on it, probably holding it by a week

The last time Gabe enlisted the feedback of Windows Insiders on Twitter in this way, it didn't take long for him to confirm that build 10122 would roll out as a result of that input. The wait was similarly brief today - just a few minutes after opening up the discussion, he confirmed that build 10136 will be released to the Fast ring as the new Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview:

Thanks all, given that people who don't want to roll back to 8.1 won't have to - we're going to release 10136 to Fast.

— Gabriel Aul (@GabeAul) June 15, 2015

He also said that Microsoft now has to make some final preparations behind the scenes to get the update ready to roll out, which will take them about 24 hours - so it looks like we can expect the new build to hit the Fast ring tomorrow.

If you decide to use the Windows Phone Recovery Tool to restore your device to Windows Phone 8.1 today, make sure that you're not signed up to the Fast ring until 10136 rolls out, or you'll just end up getting the 10080 upgrade prompt.

@edbott Yes, possible, but we'd rather go forward to a newer build at that point (10145 is in OSG Fast for example) than do a fix for 10136.

And just one last nugget of info, revealed in the tweet above: while 10136 is lined up for possible release, the even newer build 10145 is already being tested internally on the OSG (Operating Systems Group) Fast ring.
