I no longer have a credit/debit card. How do I update my payment details for my News24 subscription?
Unfortunately, we do not at this stage allow you to change your payment method. The same applies for Apple Pay, Google Pay or if you want to switch to a credit/debit card.
What happens if I miss a payment?
We will automatically retry your payment on your chosen payment method a few times over the course of a month. If the payment is still unsuccessful after the retry attempts, your subscription will be suspended and you will no longer have access to paid subscriber features until you resubscribe.
Can I update my payment details after a payment failed?
Most certainly, if you discover that your payment details are incorrect, expired or there are not sufficient funds available in the account, you can update the details. Please see the section on updating payment details above as some restrictions apply.
My subscription is suspended. How do I re-activate it?
Your subscription has most likely been suspended because we have not been receiving payment. Please see the section on updating payment details to update your payment details and restart your subscription. Please note that you will automatically be charged for any outstanding amounts still owing to News24.
Can I see previous invoices?
You can view your previous invoices in the 'Invoices' tab available in the 'My News24 Subscription' section of your profile.
How can I download a copy of my invoice?

Why is my invoice displaying as 'Due'?
If the word 'Due' appears next to your latest listed invoice, it means that we have not received the full payment for the invoice. This is most likely due to a failed payment on your chosen payment method. Please check your payment details and update them if necessary. If the details are correct, please make sure there are funds available.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time. At the bottom of the screen on your 'My News24 Subscription' page, there is a button that reads, 'Cancel my subscription'. Click on the button and follow the steps to unsubscribe. Will I still have access to subscriber features after I cancel my subscription?
You will continue to have access for the period that you have paid for, e.g. if you paid on 1 September and decide to cancel on 15 September, you will still have access to subscriber features until 30 September. However, if you cancel while you have an outstanding balance, you will no longer have access to the subscriber features.
Why was I charged after I cancelled my subscription?
If you cancel your subscription while you have an outstanding balance, the system will continue to retry payment for the period that you had access to subscriber features.
Do you offer refunds?
Unfortunately not, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial periods.
