Abu Dhabi: The UAE has emerged ‘stronger, more resilient, and more confident’ following the recent agreement between the US and Iran, according to diplomatic adviser Anwar Gargash, emphasising the country's ability to deal with regional challenges.

Gargash stated that the UAE took a calm approach throughout the period of heightened tensions, aiming to prevent escalation while protecting its national interests and security. He emphasised that the nation's focus on stability, economic growth, and development had helped to strengthen its position in the region.

The senior official expressed hope that the U.S.-Iran understanding would help to improve regional security and calm down tensions. He addressed the value of communication and diplomacy in settling conflicts and avoiding further instability in the Middle East.

In addition to stressing the need to safeguard international shipping lanes and preserve freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, an essential link for the world's energy supplies, the UAE has continuously promoted peaceful resolutions to regional conflicts.
