Florida International University Reviews
Rating 3.79 out of 5 7,646 reviews
My overall experience at Florida INternational University has been wonderful. It is beyond diverse, with the people I bump into every day, the foods, the flags in GC. It is such a beautiful thing to see such different people come together with the same idea: to get an education at a wonderful university. It is a very cleanly school! Which is very important to me! You don't want to be paying money for a dirty environment. As well as the staff! They are very sweet! And for the most part I have had very knowledgable and inviting teachers. I commute to school so I cannot talk on the campus life; however, I love the school and the dorms seem nice! I think the school is very up incoming and I am blessed to go here! I would want nothing more to finish my four years of undergrad here and go on to FIU LAW.
Review Florida International University
“Tell me I made the right choice by going to FIU without telling me.” If I could bring you on a campus tour myself, how eager you would be to enroll! We all know the two main pillars for university students are academics and campus life; Florida International University excels tremendously in both. Being rated the best campus food in any florida university, they also hit the spot by ranking 4th best public university in the nation. FIU has come a long way since the opening of Primera Casa, and its growing national success is what makes me proud to be a panther. I am native to Miami and while FIU may be close enough to home while still offering me the independence to grow, i wish I could never leave! And I believe now you can see why. At the end of a tiring day, the miami sunset from my dorm window is all I need. As it paints hues of oranges, yellows, blues and pinks in the sky, I am inspired to make my undergraduate journey an equally breath-taking picture. Thank you FIU!
The diverse campus community has made here a unique place to learn at and I love it here! The professors are knowledgeable and passionate, always willing to help me succeed. I major in Biology with a minor in psychology, a full time student while working, and my teachers are very understanding. The campus features modern buildings like Tamiami which I will be living in next month, lush green spaces, and a welcoming atmosphere. You'll find various academic buildings, student centers, and recreational facilities all within walking distance. The campus also has dining options, study spots, and even a beautiful lake where you can relax and unwind, which I often do on Sundays. I've had the chance to join some amazing student organizations like the Haitian Student Union as a dance coordinator, which has helped me build lasting friendships and develop my leadership skills. Overall, FIU has provided me with a well-rounded education and unforgettable experiences so far.
