‘At Last: The Etta James Story’ starring Vika Bull has been extended in Melbourne until December 1.

‘At Last: The Etta James Story’ has been the hit show of 2013 after premiering in February this year. The show was originally planned for a limited season but has since tour Australia twice and is continuing to sell-out its Melbourne dates.

The Room8 Production tells the story of Etta James, the broken soul diva who passed away in 2012. Etta was known for the classic ‘At Last’ as well as ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’ and ‘I’d Just Wanna Make Love To You’.

The Essential R&B Band featuring John Watson and lead by John McAll provide the soundtrack to the show.

Melbourne will have another encore performance of ‘At Last: The Etta James Story’ at the Athenaeum Theatre from tonight (November 12) and with new dates added through to December 1.

Room8 also produced the shows about Bon Scott, Gram Parsons and the recent The Songs of James Bond.
