The band’s fifth album Mylo Xyloto hits the stores today and may well be the album to dislodge Adele from the charts in a week (but probably for only a week).

French electro duo Justice have album number two in Audio, Video, Disco and ex-Savage Garden frontman Darren Hayes releases his fourth solo album Secret Codes and Battleships.

Washington drops her new ‘Insomnia’ EP and French singer Camille (who guested with Novelle Vague) has her fifth album Ilo Veyou.

Eternal blues bad-ass Tom Waits has his latest album Bad As Me and grunge mainstays The Screaming Trees offer up their final recordings, titled Last Words.

Indie pop duo of M. Ward and actress Zooey Deschanel release A Very She And Him Christmas as She And Him.

Melbourne garage rockers Eddy Current Suppression Ring offer up their rarities and singles collection So Many Things and there’s a release of Brit garage soul band Jim Jones Revue’s Burning Your House Down.

Hyped New Jersey indie rockers Real Estate release their second album Days and Patrick Stump, formerly of Fall Out Boy, delivers the deluxe edition of his solo debut Soul Punk.

NSW folky duo Georgia Fair deliver their debut album All Through Winter, Brisbane singer-songwriter and Wilson Pickers member Danny Widdicombe has his solo album Find Someone and Melbourne roots band/man Husky releases Forever So.

Sting’s Best of 25 Years is out today and will certainly make a chart splash like so many other Best Ofs, plus there are new Greatest Hits records from Barnesy, the Angels, Hunter & Collectors and RHCP.

The Pearl Jam Twenty DVD and Blu-Ray also hit stores today.
