Sir Elton John wrapped up the 2019 leg of his American ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour in Uniondale, New York on Saturday. Next stop … Perth Australia.
Elton is now about 150 shows in on the four-year world tour. He will spend the next four months touring Australia and New Zealand, visiting places rarely seen by international acts like Coffs Harbour, Bathurst and Townsville as well as the major cities.
Elton curated the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour to reflect his entire career. Since the tour started only ‘Believe’ (from Made In England, 1995) has been replaced with ‘Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word’ (from Blues Moves, 1976).
Elton John’s Australian and New Zealand tour starts 30 November 2019 in Perth.
