The Rolling Stones will most likely play more live shows in 2013. Keith Richards has told Matt Everitt of the BBC, “there is a very strong possibility”.

Keith said that the Stones got together in April and he knew then it was going to work out. “I don’t think this band is going to wind up all of this for four shows. I think they want to do something for the end of the year and next year probably looks like it is on,” he said.

Although the Stones started in April 1962, Keith marks the anniversary from January, 1963. “It’s actually next year because that was the year Charlie joined,” he said. “This year is the conception, next year is the birth. Everybody around the world has decided that the conception is worth a celebration”.

So far four dates have been announced, two in London in November and two in New Jersey in December.

The 50th anniversary album ‘GRRR’ will be released in November.
