Passenger stays at the top of the ARIA chart for a 5th week becoming the longest running single for 2013 so far with ‘Let Her Go’.

New at no. 2 is Daft Punk featuring Pharrell as guest vocalist with ‘Get Lucky’. It instantly becomes both the group and Pharrell’s highest charting song in Australia. Daft Punk have only ever graced the chart one back in April, 2001 with ‘One More Time’ where it reached no. 10.

Pharrell has been guest on two Snoop Dogg songs which both hit no. 4. ‘Beautiful’ from May 2003 and ‘Drop It Like Its Hot’ from January, 2005. This is the first track from Daft Punk’s May 17th due album ‘Random Access Memories’.

‘I Need Your Love’ by Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding climbs to a new peak at no. 3 pushing Macklemore & Ryan Lewis to no. 4 with ‘Can’t Hold Us’.

There is a second Top 10 debut this week with Jason Derulo entering at number 5 with ‘The Other Side’. It becomes his 12th Top 100 entry, his 8th Top 10 entry and his 7th Top 5 hit.

Paramore land their first Top 10 entry in Australia as ‘Still To You’ leaps eight places to no. 6 and also picks up a Gold sales accreditation. Lead singer Hayley Williams has previously been in the Top 10 on the B.o.B. track ‘Aeroplanes’ which peaked at no. 2 in May, 2010. The band’s previous best effort was ‘The Code’ which made it to no. 12 in January 2009.

Other highlights in the Top 10 include ‘Pompeil’ by ‘Bastile climbing to a new peak at number 8.

There are three Top 50 debuts from The Voice this week. Celia Pavy ‘A Thousand Years’ at 33. The original by Christina Perri comes back to the Top 100 at no. 31. Soprano Harrison Craig and his version of Westlife’s ‘You Raise Me Up’ is in at no. 40 and the original Leonardo’s Bride track ‘Only When I’m Sleeping’ which hit no. 4 in 1997 returns at no. 14.

Robin Thicke who was previously a one hit wonder in Australia with ‘When I Get You Alone’ 10 years ago debuts with his second Australian hit at 19.

No. 47 is will.i.am and Miley Cyrus ‘Fall Down’.

No. 49 Divinyls ‘I Touch Myself’, ‘Pleasure and Pain’ at 56 and ‘Boys In Town’ at 79.

The Essential Divinyls is at no. 14 on the album chart this week.
