Cam Avery, from Perth bands Tame Impala and Pond, is a special guest on the new Arctic Monkeys album ‘Tranquillity Base Hotel & Casino’.

Avery appears on track nine, ‘Batphone’.

Avery first hooked up with Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner via Turner’s supergroup The Last Shadow Puppets. He was a touring musician with that band for their ‘Everything You’d Come To Expect’ tour.

The new Arctic Monkeys album was recorded across a year in France, London and Los Angeles. Singer Alex Turner produced the album with longtime collaborator James Ford. Ford also produced the two The Last Shadow Puppets albums.

Arctic Monkeys have released a new video for the song ‘Four Out Of Five’ from their ‘Tranquillity Base Hotel & Casino’ album.

‘Tranquillity Base Hotel & Casino’ is the sixth Arctic Monkeys album.

The video for the song was directed by Ben Chappell and Aaron Brown, and was primarily shot on location at Castle Howard in the band’s home county of Yorkshire.
