Australian acts Tash Sultana, Alison Wonderland and Rufus Du Sol as well as Alex Lahey have been chosen to play at Bonnaroo 2018 in Manchester, Tennessee.

Eminem, The Killers and Muse will headline the three nights of Bonnaroo in June.

The 2018 line-up also features Chic, Sheryl Crow, Paramore, Bon Iver, Mavis Staples and Alt-J.

Bonnaroo started in Tennessee in 2002. The festival was named after Dr John’s 1974 ‘Desitively Bonnaroo’. The term is made up of two French words ‘Bon’ meaning ‘Good’ and ‘Rue’ meaning ‘Street’ (ie: the best on the streets).

Bonnaroo 2009 was the last time The Beastie Boys ever performed live. Adam Yauch died three years later but the band didn’t play live after Bonnaroo. Bobby Womack also played his final show at Bonnaroo 2014. He died two weeks later.

Artists who have played Bonnaroo include U2 (2017), Elton John (2014), Paul McCartney (2013), Tom Petty (2013), Red Hot Chili Peppers (2017,2012), Neil Young (2011), Radiohead (2016,2006), Stevie Wonder (2010), Metallica (2008), Bob Dylan (2004), The Police (2007) and Bruce Springsteen (2009).

This will be Eminem’s second time at Bonnaroo. He also headlined in 2011.
