The Beach Boys Set 2016 Dates - Noise11.com (original) (raw)

The Beach Boys, with Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, have set 36 dates around the U.S. plus one in Germany and two in Hong Kong during the first five months of 2016.

The tour starts our on January 21 in Redwood City, CA and travels around the west coast until moving to the east coast on February 9 at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn. They then move to the mid-west as the tour winds down in May.

Of note is their appearance at the Stars on Stage fundraiser on February 21 in Knoxville, TN. The Tennessee Theater’s Becky Hancock said “When The Beach Boys made their debut 50 years ago, the group and their distinct vocal harmonies revolutionized the music industry with a fresh new ‘California Sound’ that resonates with audiences of all ages to this day. We are thrilled that this iconic band will headline our fundraiser to support the preservation of the Tennessee Theatre and the community outreach programs of the nonprofit foundation.”
