Fall Warm-Up:

September 21st, 22nd, Saturday and Sunday.

Info from Maggie: Fall warm up will be a chance to run dogs on Camp Koinonia trails, catch up with friends and hopefully make some new friends. There will be a gear swap, "on-by" practice, a potluck (Saturday about 6pm). I will set up some other activities.
Gear swap items so far: harnesses, snow hooks, mega brake, skijoring belt & lines, "see me" vest, dog dishes, hats, gloves, mittens, parka, rain gear, rubber boots, and lots of books.

Please send your comments on the proposed race rules changes to Connie. This Club runs on your active participation. A reminder to renew your Membership to receive the eligibility to purchase a Trail Pass, reduced race fees, and to receive Championship Points. The trail pass is 45andallowsyoutorunonandofftrailsthroughouttheseason.Thefeesgotoplowing,byMichael,whodidnotchargeusforthislastyear,forgrooming,againdonebyMichael,andtohaveaportapottyavailableallseason,whichrunstheClubcloseto45 and allows you to run on and off trails throughout the season. The fees go to plowing, by Michael, who did not charge us for this last year, for grooming, again done by Michael, and to have a porta potty available all season, which runs the Club close to 45andallowsyoutorunonandofftrailsthroughouttheseason.Thefeesgotoplowing,byMichael,whodidnotchargeusforthislastyear,forgrooming,againdonebyMichael,andtohaveaportapottyavailableallseason,whichrunstheClubcloseto100 monthly. Ingrid has just made the first $1250 payment of our loan extended by Camp K to support the pavilion project. Buy those passes and enter the races so we can build up our funds. The camping fees at our events also go to the Club. (Thank you Camp K)
